Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly professional and organized Legal Receptionist to join our client – a prestigious Central London law firm. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and staff, ensuring the smooth operation of the reception area and providing exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities:

Reception Management:

• Greet clients, visitors, and staff with professionalism and courtesy.

• Answer, screen, and direct incoming calls, taking accurate messages when required.

• Manage the reception area, ensuring it is clean, organized, and presentable at all times.

Client Support:

• Assist clients and visitors with inquiries, directing them to the appropriate department or meeting room.

• Coordinate meeting room bookings and maintain schedules for conference rooms.

Administrative Duties:

• Handle incoming and outgoing mail, courier services, and deliveries.

• Prepare and maintain records of visitor logs and other relevant documentation.

• Assist with general office duties such as filing, photocopying, and ordering supplies.

Operational Support:

• Liaise with internal teams to ensure smooth daily operations.

• Coordinate with facilities management for any maintenance or technical issues in the reception area.

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Previous experience as a receptionist, preferably in a legal or professional services environment.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other standard office software.

• Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure.

• A professional and approachable demeanor with excellent customer service skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with legal terminology and processes.

• Experience with office management systems or CRM software.
